Basketball Game Preview: Redmond Panthers vs. Caldera

The Redmond Panthers will face off against Caldera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Redmond will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Redmond is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Bend to the tune of 73-30 on Thursday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Caldera's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Summit.

Redmond has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Caldera, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-7.

Redmond strolled past Caldera in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 63-49. Does Redmond have another victory up their sleeve, or will Caldera turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
