Basketball Game Preview: Cissna Park Timberwolves vs. Milford Bearcats

Cissna Park is on a three-game streak of home losses, Milford a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Cissna Park Timberwolves will welcome the Milford Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. Both are at an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but likely not for long.

Last Friday, Cissna Park lost to Oakwood on the road by a 69-52 margin. The Timberwolves were down 54-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Milford was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 61-57 to Clifton Central. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Bearcats still had to take the loss.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Cissna Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.

Cissna Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Milford in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, sneaking past 53-51. Does Cissna Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Milford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
