Bristol Eastern put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the RHAM Raptors with a sharp 19-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won four matchups by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Hailey Beebe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Emily Valentine was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gracie Brown, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases.

Bristol Eastern was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in six consecutive games.

Bristol Eastern's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for RHAM, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Bristol Eastern will head out on the road to square off against Rocky Hill at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for RHAM, they will welcome Platt at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
