Recap: O'Connor Eagles vs. Maricopa Rams
The O'Connor Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Maricopa, posting a 88-15 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory O'Connor has managed all season.
O'Connor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Bhesania out in front who dropped a triple-double on 13 points, ten rebounds, and 11 assists. That's the first time this season that Bhesania posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Thalia Daniels, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
O'Connor's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Maricopa, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
O'Connor will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Basha at 7:00 p.m. Basha is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.4 points per game. Maricopa won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tucson High Magnet School at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th.
