Recap: Alexander Bulldogs vs. Jay Mustangs
The Alexander Bulldogs and the Jay Mustangs squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Alexander Bulldogs had to settle for second. Alexander was the victim of a rough 37-15 loss at the hands of Jay. Alexander has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremy Gabrillo, who threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Jay, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Alexander does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jay is on the road again on Friday and play against Weslaco at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Weslaco is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
