Football Game Preview: Liberty Christian Warriors vs. St. Pius X Panthers + How To Watch

The Liberty Christian Warriors will face off against the St. Pius X Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Liberty Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three games.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Liberty Christian beat Legacy Christian Academy 31-27. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Liberty Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quinn Murphy out in front who threw for 259 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 62 yards. Another back making a difference was Correll Buckhalter, who gained 98 total yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Pius X, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They never let Savio get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday. The two-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win got St. Pius X back to even at 5-5. As for Liberty Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
