Butler waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Mallard Creek Mavericks by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 19-25, 25-20.

Butler can attribute much of their success to Amaya Bailey, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs Bailey has posted since back in September. Ella Wrenn also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Butler's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Mallard Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-20.

Butler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Independence on the 9th. As for Mallard Creek, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Chambers on the 9th.
