Basketball Recap: Southwestern Randolph Falls to Ledford in First Game of Season

Southwestern Randolph unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 39-27 to the Ledford Panthers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

The win got Ledford back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwestern Randolph will challenge Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ledford, they will be playing at home against North Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
