Basketball Recap: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Kofa Kings

The Copper Canyon Aztecs's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against Kofa by a score of 54-41. This was a revenge matchup for Copper Canyon, as the team was forced to settle for a 40-37 loss when these two played last Friday.

Bri'ann Felix continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 34 points and 11 rebounds. Felix is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Zalaya Dupre was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Several Kings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Irene Martinez, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Michelle Noriega, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
