Soccer Recap: Kodiak Comes Up Short

Kodiak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Houston Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Houston this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on Thursday.

Kodiak's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Houston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-11.

Looking ahead, Kodiak is taking a road trip to face off against Wasilla at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Houston, they will be playing at home against Soldotna at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Soldotna's last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
