Dinwiddie dropped their record down to 13-3 on Monday, which also ended the team's 13-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Hanover Hawks. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Hanover, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

For Hanover's part, the team relied heavily on Kaileigh Byars, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Willow Dickenson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Coming up, Dinwiddie will challenge Mechanicsville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hanover, they will take on Varina at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
