Volleyball Recap: Grace Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against Emmanuel Christian

Grace Christian had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Emmanuel Christian Crusaders. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Grace Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Emmanuel Christian's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 29-27.

Emmanuel Christian found their leader in sophomore Michaela August, who had 11 aces and ten digs.
