Baseball Recap: Del Campo Takes a Loss

Del Campo suffered their biggest loss since March 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the River City Raiders, falling 9-2. The defeat leaves the Cougars still looking for their first win of the season.

Del Campo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Bieneman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Jaylen Cuevas also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Del Campo's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for River City, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Del Campo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-7 win against Placer on the 8th. As for River City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Dixon on the 6th.
