Softball Recap: Cordova Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Cordova dropped their record down to 9-6 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the White Station Spartans. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for White Station, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2. Considering they have won five contests by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For White Station's part, they got a massive performance out of Breeze Bourgeois, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Debra Echlin was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

While Cordova had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
