Basketball Recap: Carolina Day Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Carolina Day had won three straight road games and Keana Smith did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Carolina Day Wildcats really took it to the Shining Rock Classical Academy Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-30 win thanks in part to Smith, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 24 boards. Her afternoon made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Valley Kitt, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2023.

Carolina Day's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Shining Rock Classical Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Carolina Day won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mount Pisgah Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Shining Rock Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
