Ogden is a perfect 6-0 against South Summit since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Ogden duke it out with South Summit at 3:30 p.m. Ogden is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Ogden who was credited with the victory on Friday. Ogden got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Layton's three.

Luis Velasco was the driving force of Ogden's attack as he scored both of Ogden's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

If Ogden heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when South Summit took over last week. South Summit's defense stepped up to hand American Prep WV a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

The win got South Summit back to even at 2-2. As for Ogden, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Ogden took their win against South Summit in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ogden since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
