Recap: Dekaney Wildcats vs. MacArthur Generals
The Dekaney Wildcats entered their tilt with the MacArthur Generals with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Dekaney blew past MacArthur 42-7 at home. The result was nothing new for Dekaney, who have now won four matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Dekaney's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samaritan Cunningham led the charge by rushing for 87 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Nicholas Townsend was another key contributor, picking up 59 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Dekaney's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Leading the way was Caleb Moody and his two sacks.
Dekaney's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for MacArthur, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Dekaney will be playing in front of their home fans against Nimitz at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
