Volleyball Recap: Geneva Triumphs

The Geneva Vikings earned a 2-0 victory over the Plainfield Central Wildcats on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Geneva never let Plainfield Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 33-31, 25-21.

Geneva's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Plainfield Central, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-19.

Geneva has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Wheaton North on the 6th. As for Plainfield Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Yorkville on the 8th.
