Neshoba Central waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Meridian Wildcats by a score of 10-6. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Neshoba Central's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Meridian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Neshoba Central and Meridian will both be playing Quitman the next time they take the field. The Rockets will head out to face the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
