After a string of three wins, Lamar's good fortune finally ran out on Sunday. They fell 70-57 to the Nevada Tigers. While losing is never fun, Lamar can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while Nevada is ranked 63rd).

Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Nevada, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
