Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-1 to the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers. The Panthers have struggled against the Clippers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Mt. Pleasant now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Clear Creek-Amana, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will head out to take on Van Buren County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clear Creek-Amana, they will be playing at home against Vinton-Shellsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Clippers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
