Softball Recap: Broadalbin-Perth Comes Up Short

Broadalbin-Perth was the 16-4 winner over Scotia-Glenville when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots lost 16-2 to the Tartans on Monday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Broadalbin-Perth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrianna Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Broadalbin-Perth's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Scotia-Glenville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Broadalbin-Perth is set to square off against their familiar foe Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Scotia-Glenville will take on rival Hudson Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
