Football Game Preview: Warrenton Warriors vs. Odessa Bulldogs

The Warrenton Warriors will square off against the Odessa Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Warrenton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Marshall, sneaking past 30-27. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Odessa didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Harrisonville last Friday, but they still walked away with a 33-28 win.

Odessa's win came from a few key players Warrenton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Michael Scott, who threw for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 64 yards on only six carries. Those 64 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Westerhold, who gained 100 total yards and two touchdowns.

Warrenton's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Odessa, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
