Basketball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern's Run of Seven Straight Victories Now Over

Greenfield/Northwestern and Peoria Christian squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Greenfield/Northwestern had to settle for second. The contest between the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers and the Peoria Christian Chargers didn't end well, with the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers falling 66-49. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Greenfield/Northwestern still got an impressive performance from Talon Albrecht, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Albrecht's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Stuart, who posted eight points.
