Baseball Recap: Van Arsdale Comes Up Short

Van Arsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Grand Street Campus Wolves, falling 21-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 back in March.

Van Arsdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Grand Street Campus, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Van Arsdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 defeat against Tottenville on the 25th. As for Grand Street Campus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-4 victory against New Dorp on the 25th.
