Mineral Ridge has no trouble against Orange

The Mineral Ridge Rams entered their tilt with the Orange Lions with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Mineral Ridge took down Orange 64-46 on Saturday. With that win, Mineral Ridge brought their scoring average up to 54 points per game.
Leading Mineral Ridge to victory were Gianna Gilbert and Ava Hulett. Gilbert scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds, while Hulett scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hulett has scored at least 25% of Mineral Ridge's points. Another player making a difference was Kelcee Dye, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Mineral Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Mineral Ridge will look to defend their home court on Monday against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. As for Orange, they will head out on the road to face off against West Geauga at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
