Softball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.57 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 19-0 to the Bentonville Tigers. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Bentonville, their record now sits at 16-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwood will challenge Alma at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bentonville, they will face off against Pea Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
