Aurora Central was the 62-50 winner over Englewood when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans lost 63-38 to the Pirates on Tuesday. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Aurora Central still got an impressive performance from Alejandro (Alex) Flores, who went 9-for-20 to rack up 22 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Deon Davis Jr, who posted three points along with five boards and four blocks.

Aurora Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Englewood, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.
