Baseball Recap: Upper St. Clair Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when Upper St. Clair duked it out with Moon Area on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Upper St. Clair's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Moon Area, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Upper St. Clair will head out to challenge Chartiers Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Moon Area, they have already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Beaver on the 1st.
