Baseball Recap: Dunkerton Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Dunkerton's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Don Bosco Dons on Friday. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 15-5 to the Dons when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Dunkerton and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Don Bosco, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Dunkerton will square off against Janesville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Don Bosco, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Beckman on the 31st.
