Soccer Recap: Piedmont Classical Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Piedmont Classical was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bishop McGuinness Villains, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Piedmont Classical can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Bishop McGuinness are ranked 66th).

Piedmont Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Piedmont Classical didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Carver on the 3rd. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Cornerstone Charter on the 3rd.
