Basketball Recap: Christchurch School Comes Up Short

Christchurch School was the 46-36 winner over Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Christchurch School Seahorses were outmatched by the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots and fell 58-31.

Christchurch School's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexis Foster, who posted 13 points. That was a full 41.9% of Christchurch School's points, marking the sixth time in a row Foster has had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Amparo Cabedo Llorens, who earned four points and three steals.

Christchurch School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Christchurch School will look to defend their home court on Friday against Veritas School at 5:30 p.m. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association has already played their next match (against Spirit HomeSchool), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
