Softball Recap: Warren Find Success

Warren got themselves on the board against Gallia Academy on Thursday, but Gallia Academy never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Blue Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The team relied heavily on DeLaney Gates, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Gracie Adams also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Warren was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.

Warren's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Gallia Academy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-8.

Coming up, Warren will welcome Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gallia Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Rock Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
