Volleyball Recap: Licking Takes a Loss

Licking lost against Cabool back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 18-25, 25-22.

Cabool can attribute much of their success to Makayla Harden, who had 12 digs and five aces. That's the most digs Harden has posted over her last six contests.

Licking's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Cabool, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5-1.

Looking ahead, Licking will be playing at home against Herculaneum at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cabool, they will venture away from home to take on Thayer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
