Preview: Chase County Longhorns vs. Holyoke Dragons
The Chase County Longhorns will head out on the road to face off against the Holyoke Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chase County is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Last Saturday, Chase County earned a 51-38 win over Perkins County. The victory was just what Chase County needed coming off of a 65-25 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Holyoke's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-33 walloping at the hands of Perkins County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Holyoke has suffered since December 8, 2023.
Chase County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Holyoke, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
Chase County came up short against Holyoke in their previous matchup back in February of 2016, falling 51-41. Thankfully for Chase County, GRACE DILLE (who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
