Football Recap: Mexico Sets Scoring Season-High Against Fulton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mexico). They blew past the Fulton Hornets 63-42 on Friday. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Mexico's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Demint, who rushed for 208 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries. With that strong performance, Demint is now averaging an impressive 106.7 rushing yards per game. Charlie Fisher was another key player, rushing for 132 yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mexico was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 505 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Mexico's record now sits at 4-2. As for Fulton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
