Basketball Recap: Plum Takes a Loss

Plum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 71-57 fall against the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 68-66 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

Plum's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Shady Side Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-12.

Plum does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shady Side Academy, they will head out to take on McGuffey at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. McGuffey will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Shady Side Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
