Pinedale had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 34-point drubbing they dealt Rawlins on Friday. The Wranglers breezed past the Outlaws to the tune of 40-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wranglers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Quincy Mika and Caleb Parks. Mika rushed for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries while Parks rushed for 108 yards on only seven carries.

Pinedale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 277 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rawlins only rushed for 24 rushing yards.

Pinedale's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rawlins, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinedale will challenge Kemmerer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wranglers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Rawlins, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
