Canyon View took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Carbon, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons never let the Dinos get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Price Atwood made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Atwood was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Atwood wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jarron Bradshaw, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Asher Slack also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Canyon View hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matchups.

Canyon View pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Carbon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Canyon View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dinos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
