Recap: Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy vs. North Crawford Trojans
On Friday, The Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy faced the North Crawford Trojans in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy strolled past North Crawford with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. The win was just what Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy needed coming off of a 54-28 loss in their prior match.
Paul Emmel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Emmel is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played. Joseph Marsland was another major influence, as he rushed for 56 yards and ran in a TD.
Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for North Crawford, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-1.
Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Oakfield at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Oakfield will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. North Crawford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
