Basketball Game Preview: Turner County Titans vs. Brooks County Trojans

The Turner County Titans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Brooks County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Turner County is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Irwin County just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Indians 53-47.

Meanwhile, Brooks County waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They enjoyed a cozy 46-31 victory over the Rebels. 46 seems to be a good number for the Trojans as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Brooks County's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Turner County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Turner County beat Brooks County 49-39 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Turner County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
