Avalon hadn't done well against Trinity Classical Academy recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Avalon Lancers came out on top against the Trinity Classical Academy Knights by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Avalon's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Trinity Classical Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.

After both having extra time off, Avalon and The Webb Schools will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be Avalon's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they will square off against Milken at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
