Basketball Recap: Creative Technologies Academy Comes Up Short

Creative Technologies Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Algoma Christian Knights 49-12. Creative Technologies Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.

Makayla Afton was her usual excellent self, going 6-for-10 en route to 15 points for Algoma Christian. Ayla Ross was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Creative Technologies Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Algoma Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Creative Technologies Academy will square off against Varsity Opponent at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Algoma Christian, they will take on Fellowship Baptist Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
