Basketball Recap: Langley Saxons vs. McLean Highlanders

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Langley can now relate to. They fell 61-49 to the McLean Highlanders on Tuesday. The Saxons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 59-50.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McLean to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Bell, who went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points. The dominant performance also gave Bell a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (75%). Another player making a difference was Max Mullen, who posted 15 points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Langley dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for McLean, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
