Baseball Recap: Diman RVT Bengals vs. Brockton Boxers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westport, Diman RVT was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Brockton Boxers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win.
Samuel Perry made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Perry was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Carter Perreira was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Cam Falcon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
