Basketball Game Preview: Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots vs. Landmark Christian War Eagles

The Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots will take on the Landmark Christian War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-22, which was the final score in Mount Pisgah Christian's tilt against Creekside Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Landmark Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 77-18 defeat at the hands of Mount Paran Christian. While losing is never fun, the War Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Eagles are ranked 37th).

Mount Pisgah Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Landmark Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Mount Pisgah Christian came up short against Landmark Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, falling 35-29. Can Mount Pisgah Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
