Softball Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

Hesperia lost against Silverado on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Hesperia came up short against Silverado, falling 16-2. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hesperia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malena Griego, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Hesperia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Silverado, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hesperia will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Serrano at 3:15 p.m. on April 1. As for Silverado, they will face off against Burroughs at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
