Basketball Recap: Bunker Hill Takes a Loss

Bunker Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 52-22 loss at the hands of the Gibault Catholic Hawks. The Minutemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.

Kamille Grohmann continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Gibault Catholic, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. Grohmann is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Karmon Grohmann, who posted ten points and seven boards.

Bunker Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Gibault Catholic, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Bunker Hill is taking a road trip to face off against Staunton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gibault Catholic, they will be playing at home against Waterloo at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
