Volleyball Recap: Whittier Christian Comes Up Short

Whittier Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Heritage Christian Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Whittier Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21-1. As for Heritage Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whittier Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Maranatha at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Heritage Christian will square off against rival Valley Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
