Football Recap: Martinsville Comes Up Short at Home Against St. Anne + How To Watch

Martinsville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 30-0 defeat at the hands of the St. Anne Cardinals on Saturday. The Bluestreaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Matthew Langellier, who picked up 71 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Martinsville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 26-14 defeat against Pawnee/Lincolnwood on the 6th. As for St. Anne, they have also already played their next matchup, a 41-6 win against Meridian on the 6th.
